It has to be said that 2010 has not exactly been ideal so far. My beloved Sean has lost several friends and a relation and my dear friend Dav lost his mother in the last week. All very sad indeed. And now, to compound all this sadness, out Letting Agency has been terribly underhand and have served notice on our flat.
Those who know me will realise what a homebody I am and I seem to have been nesting for much of my life. My flatmate Julie has decided enough is enough and will be heading to Cornwall so I shall need to find somewhere new to live by 19th March. It's all too scary to even begin to contemplate and I am desperately battling my anxieties in order to have - what should be - the holiday of a lifetime.
My life is about to undergo a massive overhaul.
Paul
ReplyDeleteSending positive vibes in your (Crystal Palace!)direction, particularly since on Sat 17 Jan 2009 I was given notice to leave my flat by March 2009. My mind was put into a state of horrible turmoil, particularly as I spent a lot of my time at'home' and regarded it as my haven in a fairly hostile world.
Friends told me of possible vacancies, which gave me hope in time of despair but looking back on those harsh winter days I wish I'd just been more relaxed and wasted less time in worrying,as we know, don't we, that all shall be well.
Meanwhile, hope someting turns up quickly,Paul.
All Best, John Swimmer
God Paul....sounds like you guys have had a wretched time of it!! I really feel for you...but am helpless to do anything. I know you will have a fab relaxing time away..no doubt. The house thing...well I am certain you can find something that will work and restore that haven you relish so much. Hugs and love to you and Sean.
